I began as a catechist 30+ years when I was in college. I love sharing our Catholic faith and this is my 16th year as a catechist here at MMR. Also I have volunteered at every MMR VBS every year since 2000. I have three 2nd grade PREP classes at MMR and two 2nd grade classes at St. Jude parish. I am also a catechist with MMR Children's Liturgy of the Word during 10:30 a.m. Mass (and please encourage your child to join us if you are at this Mass). I am also an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion and one of the parish small group leaders. I just completed a three-year term as a member of the Parish Pastoral Council.
My education includes:
Assumption College, Worcester MA--BA
Education for Parish Service , Washington, DC--Certificate in Theology
Church Ministry Institute, Philadelphia, PA—Certificate in Theology
University of Notre Dame STEP Program
Washington Theological Union
TEFL Certification (Teacher of English as a Foreign Language)
I have been married to my husband, Ron for 24 years. Our son, Matthew, recently graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Chemical Engineering. I had a career culminating as a Project Manager for the U.S. until I married and relocated for my husband's new duty station. I enjoy reading, cooking, traveling both in the U.S. and around the world (28 countries and still counting),
